Hand Knitting - Beyond The Basics

The “Hand Knitting Beyond the Basics” class is designed to get you from beginner to confident advanced.  All you have to know for this class is how to cast on, make the knit stitch, make the purl stitch, how to yarn over, how to knit two together and how to bind off in pattern.  If you’ve taken “Hand Knitting the Basics” you have these core techniques mastered.

Many of my students are skeptical when I tell them that they will be fearlessly knitting sweaters from seemingly complicated patterns, to making modifications on a whim and even designing their own hand knits.  If you’re feeling that same skepticism, stick with me!  By the end of the first learning project, whether you made it small scale, or upsized it to an adult version, you will be equipped to handle just about anything the knitting world has to offer you.  This class really is a mixed levels experience and its different every time, except, of course for the initial learning project; well, even that is different every time, so if you join me once or return a few times, welcome to the journey, I hope you enjoy yourself along the path as much as I do!
